Because of the cold winter months, we Wisconsinites can tend to fall into a pattern of inactivity, but summer is a great time to re-commit to goals about maintaining an active lifestyle.
Certainly an active lifestyle will look different for each individual depending on age, ability, and interest; however, there is plenty to do outdoors in our great state, and the important thing is to get out and get moving.
And if you think it’s too late to get started, think again. Summer has (officially) only just begun, and we have plenty of lovely weather ahead of us. Even if the first part of summer has been slow for you, it’s a great time to get started on an active lifestyle routine. Taking a little time each day to stay active is a great investment in your health and happiness.
